Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the FinSociety desktop software, this website, and the licence keys we issue. By buying or activating a licence, you agree to them. FinSociety is operated by R4UIND SERVICE.

1. What FinSociety is

FinSociety is mock-exam practice software for the CFA Program (Levels 1, 2 and 3) and the CAT. It provides timed practice exams, analytics and study tools. Your attempts, analytics and notes are stored on your own machine; the software works offline after activation.

CFA® and Chartered Financial Analyst® are trademarks of CFA Institute; CFA Institute does not endorse, promote or warrant FinSociety or its content. CAT is conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management; FinSociety is not affiliated with the IIMs. Our questions are original practice material written to the published exam patterns: they are not actual exam questions, and using FinSociety does not guarantee any exam outcome.

2. Your licence

• A licence key is personal and non-transferable. One key is issued per email address and covers the track (CFA level(s) or CAT) you purchased for 12 months from issue.
• One key activates one Windows desktop only. If you change machines, contact support to reset your device binding.
• You may not share, sell, lend or publish your key, and you may not redistribute the software, question banks or screenshots of questions for commercial use.
• A key obtained from anyone other than FinSociety may be invalid and can be revoked without refund to you.

3. Payments and renewals

Prices are in Indian Rupees (CFA: ₹1,499 per level per year; CAT: ₹399 per year) and are shown in full before you pay. Payments are made online through PhonePe (UPI, card, or netbanking); your key is issued automatically once the payment is confirmed. Renewing with the same email extends the same key: you never need a second key. Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to attempt to bypass the licence or device-binding checks, probe or disrupt our licence servers, automate bulk downloads of exam content, or use the software to infringe anyone’s rights. We may suspend a key that is shared publicly or used in breach of these terms; where the breach is deliberate, no refund is due.

5. Availability

Activation, exam downloads, the leaderboard and this website need an internet connection and are provided on an “as available” basis. We may maintain or update them at any time. Once activated, the mock exams, analytics and history on your machine keep working offline.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, our total liability for any claim arising from your licence is limited to the amount you paid for the then-current licence period. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms as the product evolves; the version on this page is the current one, and material changes will be announced on the website. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts at Karwar, Karnataka.
